The European Union announced on Thursday that it would impose tariffs of up to 37.6% on imports of electric vehicles made in China, while saying it was ready to negotiate a compromise with Beijing. The final vote on this measure, representing a customs surcharge of 21% for the Dacia Spring, is scheduled for November.
