Newly-renovated center to serve as community hub

NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PSE&G's Customer Service Center in Passaic reopened today and is offering enhanced services for customers.

The new facility offers a work area for local outreach agencies to provide information about their programs. The center also features a conference room that is available to non-profit and other organizations to use for meetings and to provide materials and information about services available.

"We have remodeled this center to better serve the community," said Vaughn McKoy, PSE&G's director of customer service and community relations. "We hope that Passaic customers and residents will think of the customer service center as a community hub, a place where meetings can be held and organizations can conduct programs and activities."

The completely remodeled center is customer friendly and community focused. Representatives from local community organizations will be on hand to inform customers about LIHEAP (Home Heating Assistance Program), USF (Universal Service Fund) and other heating assistance programs and to help them fill out applications.

The facility features customer restrooms and a greeter station to direct customers to the appropriate representatives, who can accept bill payments, arrange for service or answer questions.

The Customer Service Center is located at 651 Main Avenue, Passaic. The center is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
