JAKARTA, INDONESIA - Leading technology companies Kata.ai, Metrodata, and Google Cloud today announced a strategic collaboration to accelerate the adoption of Generative AI (Gen AI) technology across various industries in Indonesia. The primary focus of this collaboration is to develop AI-powered virtual agents that deliver enhanced user experiences.

The three companies will leverage Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform to develop chatbots that can understand conversational intent and enhance multilingual capabilities, thereby better understanding user needs and providing more personalized and relevant responses and solutions.

With Gen AI, these chatbots can learn from a wide range of data sources, both structured and unstructured. As a result, chatbots will become more adaptive, responsive, and intuitive communication partners for their users.

Irzan Raditya, CEO of Kata.ai, stated, "This collaboration will significantly impact the future of the AI industry. We are committed to creating chatbot solutions that are not only more efficient but also equipped with local nuances and sensitivity to user emotions and needs. Working with Google Cloud, we hope to support digital transformation across various industries."

Ira Santoso, Proxy of President Director, PT. Metrodata Electronics Tbk, added, "With the maturity of AI development and the rapid advancements in machine learning technology, the collaboration between Kata.ai, Metrodata, and Google Cloud will produce chatbots that are not just tools to answer questions but that can deliver personalized and accurate responses. These are not replacements for human roles but rather partners that help improve productivity and efficiency."

Three Parties Design a Joint Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy

Regarding the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, the three companies are committed to establishing a holistic and integrated approach. By leveraging their respective strengths, Kata.ai, Metrodata, and Google Cloud will collaborate to bring advanced solutions and superior customer service delivery to customers. Examples of Gen AI applications through chatbots include enhancing customer engagement, conducting more effective marketing activities, performing more accurate customer validation, and supporting interactive sales processes. For instance, in the e-commerce industry, chatbots can provide targeted product recommendations, increase sales conversions, and deliver a more enjoyable shopping experience.

Megawaty Khie, Director, Channels and Strategic Partnerships, Southeast Asia, Google Cloud, said: "Gen AI presents a wealth of opportunities for developers and organizations, enabling them to optimize business processes, elevate customer interactions, and discover untapped sources of revenue. However, to capitalize on these opportunities, builders and IT leaders find themselves having to overcome a range of challenges, including balancing rapid experimentation and iteration of AI models, apps, and agents with practical considerations like costs, governance, and performance at scale. We're therefore pleased to be collaborating with Kata.ai and Metrodata to help our customers overcome these challenges and accelerate the deployment and time-to-value of production-grade, high-quality gen AI agents."

As a tangible step towards realizing Gen AI-based chatbots that can be easily used by the public, Kata.ai, Metrodata, and Google Cloud are proud to launch the KataCX platform, accessible athttps://cx.kata.ai. KataCX empowers company marketing teams to conduct personalized broadcast campaigns with a single click. Uniquely, KataCX is equipped with an AI Chatbot Builder built using the Gemini models on the Vertex AI platform. These chatbots can be integrated with various communication channels such as WhatsApp or Messenger.

In addition, in the near future, the three parties will host an Interact event in June to engage with customers more closely.
