Winners for PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2013 were announced during a live broadcast hosted by Kaley Cuoco at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on Wednesday, January 9th (9:00 - 11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. To determine the winners, fans cast a record-breaking 475+ million votes.
The Hunger Games was the night's big winner taking home five awards including "Favorite Movie" while its star, Jennifer Lawrence, walked away with three of her own including "Favorite Movie Actress." Katy Perry nabbed four awards including "Favorite Female Artist," bringing her total People's Choice Award count to twelve. With her win tonight for "Favorite Daytime TV Host," Ellen DeGeneres has tied Julia Roberts as the winningest female in People's Choice Award history, with a total of 13 crystal trophies.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2013 featured the presentation of the first-ever award for "Favorite Humanitarian" to Sandra Bullock, in recognition of her generous philanthropic efforts, specifically her ongoing commitment to Warren Easton High School in New Orleans. In addition, Christina Aguilera was honored as the "People's Voice," following her performance of "Blank Page." The night also featured performances of "My Kinda Party" by Jason Aldean and a mash-up of "Girl on Fire" and "New Day" by Alicia Keys.
People's Choice Award winners receive a custom award created by Waterford, the official designer and house of crystal that produces the People's Choice Awards trophies. Each award is hand cut by Waterford artisans in Ireland to create a sparkling crystal design steeped in heritage and craftsmanship. Waterford also created a backstage experience with the Waterford Interiors London Mirror and Console Table, which was perfectly positioned for quick beauty touchups.

ABOUT PEOPLE'S CHOICE
Now in its 39th year, the People's Choice Awards continues to be the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in movies, music and television. The People's Choice official website at www.PeoplesChoice.com houses the voting platform where fans determine the categories, nominees and winners for the annual awards show. Every year, potential nominees are determined by national ratings averages, box office grosses, music sales and PeoplesChoice.com data, then vetted through E-Poll® MediaSYNC - E-Score Celebrity. Fred Nelson is the President of People's Choice, and the awards show is produced by Procter & Gamble Productions, Inc. [NYSE:PG], which is represented by Liquid Thread, a division of Starcom MediaVest Group, Worldwide, Inc., supervisors of the production.
