On the occasion of its quarterly publication, Procter & Gamble raised its target range for adjusted EPS for its 2023-24 fiscal year, now anticipating an increase of 8% to 9% (instead of 6% to 9%) to $6.37 to $6.43.

The consumer staples group, which owns the Ariel, Duracell and Pampers brands among others, nevertheless confirms that it expects annual sales growth of 2 to 4% overall, and 4 to 5% in organic terms.

For its second quarter 2023-24, P&G posted adjusted EPS up 16% to $1.84, on sales of $21.4 billion, up 3% overall and 4% organically.
