Poly Medicure Ltd. reported unaudited standalone earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2013. For the quarter, the company reported net sales/income from operation of INR 784.124 million against INR 612.460 million a year ago. Total income from operation was INR 802.928 million compared to INR 629.858 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance cost and exceptional items was INR 134.817 million against INR 133.392 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 151.978 million against INR 115.868 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 110.598 million against INR 82.449 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share before extraordinary items were INR 5.01 against INR 3.74 a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported net sales/income from operation of INR 2,240.298 million against INR 1,791.183 million a year ago. Total income from operation was INR 2,304.966 million compared to INR 1,831.211 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance cost and exceptional items was INR 463.863 million against INR 253.635 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 455.078 million against INR 203.848 million a year ago. Net profit for the period was INR 316.491 million against INR 147.753 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share before extraordinary items were INR 14.35 against INR 6.70 a year ago.
