PME African Infrastructure Opportunities plc

('PME' or the 'Company')

(AIM: PMEA.L)

AGM Statement

At the Company's Annual General Meeting today, Paul Macdonald, PME's Chairman, will make the following statement:

'As disclosed in PME's recently published Interim Results, we have continued our efforts to register the intercompany loan with the Bank of Tanzania in order to have the freedom to repatriate funds out of Tanzania. This process has continued to be time consuming with no conclusion reached so far but we remain optimistic that the process can be concluded in the near future. As a result and as announced earlier today, the Company has put in place an additional loan facility of €200,000 in order to meet its near-term funding needs. As indicated previously, we have been progressing our review of the de-listing of PME's shares from the AIM market and anticipate publishing proposals in this regard in December 2019.'
