Piper Sandler Companies has named Matt Sznewajs and John Tye as co-heads of diversified industrials and services (DIS) investment banking. Mike Dillahunt and Ted Garner, current co-heads of the DIS group, have been appointed vice chairman of investment banking. Garner will serve as chairman of DIS investment banking and continue to provide oversight to the group. Dillahunt will serve as chairman of M&A and private equity coverage for the firm. These promotions reflect the firm’s commitment to invest in the next class of leaders and strategically grow the company's advisory business in key sectors. Sznewajs, who joined Piper Sandler in 2002, is currently a managing director focused within the DIS team. Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Tye was with Edgeview Partners for 10 years.
