Pfizer is launching a multi-year cost-reduction program.
The company said first phase is focused on operational efficiencies and is expected to deliver savings of about $1.5 billion by the end of 2027. One-time costs related to the first phase are expected to be about $1.7 billion, and will be recorded primarily in 2024.
