PetMed Express Welcomes Jodi Watson and Peter Cobb to Its Board of Directors

PetMed Express, Inc. reported that Jodi Watson and Peter Cobb have been elected to the PetMed Express, Inc. Board of Directors as new independent directors. Ms. Watson is a highly accomplished Senior Executive with more than 20 years of progressive experience in global retail, wholesale, omni-channel, technology, digital and direct-to-consumer enterprises, and a proven history of leadership across multiple other industries. Ms. Watson’s core skills include: digital transformation, business unit (P&L) leadership, marketing, public relations, e-Commerce, talent development, customer service, organizational restructuring and M&A. Ms. Watson has held global leadership roles with companies such as Petco, Wolverine Worldwide, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma and Eddie Bauer. She currently works as a CMO, board member and consultant with private equity, venture capital, start-ups and publicly traded companies. Ms. Watson will serve on the PetMed Express, Inc. Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Mr. Cobb brings considerable knowledge of digital retail, marketing, merchandising and website design and optimization. In addition, he has in-depth experience with customer acquisition and retention and creating robust loyalty programs.
PetMed Express, Inc., doing business as PetMeds, is a direct-to-consumer pet pharmacy. The Company is an online provider of prescription and non-prescription medications, food, supplements, supplies and vet services for dogs, cats, and horses. It markets and sells directly to consumers through its websites, toll-free numbers, and mobile applications. Its product line contains approximately 15,000 SKUs of pet medications, health products, and supplies. The Company offers various pet supplies, including food, beds, crates, stairs and other pet supplies. PetMeds products include Non-Prescription Medications (OTC) and supplies, and Prescription Medications (Rx). OTC and supplies include flea and tick control products, bone and joint care products, vitamins, treats, nutritional supplements, hygiene products, and supplies. Rx includes heartworm and flea and tick preventatives, arthritis, dermatitis, thyroid, diabetes, pain medications, heart/blood pressure, and other specialty medications.
