PayPal Holdings named former General Electric finance chief Jamie Miller as its next CFO.

Miller previously served as global CFO of EY and Cargill. She served as CFO of General Electric from October 2017 and February 2020.

Miller succeeds interim CFO Gabrielle Rabinovitch, who stepped into the role after CFO Blake Jorgensen went on leave for health reasons and subsequently resigned in March.

The appointment comes shortly after PayPal named Alex Chriss, a former Intuit executive, as its next president and chief executive. Chriss stepped into the role officially Sept. 27, replacing former chief Dan Schulman who retired following nine years leading the company.
