North Carolina Department of Transportation has selected Parsons Corporation to construct the new Pea Island Bridge in Dare County, North Carolina. This $79.6 million project is part of NCDOT's long-term solution for the NC-12 Breaches program and will replace 2.7 million of roadway and temporary structures that were built after Hurricane Irene breached Pea Island in August 2011.
