SPH REIT reported audited earnings results for the first quarter ended November 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported gross revenue of SGD 53.5 million compared to SGD 52.6 million, net property income of SGD 42.2 million compared to SGD 41.4 million, total return before taxes and distribution of SGD 31.8 million compared to SGD 31.1 million, total return after taxes and before distribution of SGD 31.8 million compared to SGD 31.1 million, distribution to unit holders of SGD 34.4 million compared to SGD 34.2 million, net cash from operating activities of SGD 37.1 million compared to SGD 43.0 million, additions to investment properties of SGD 0.2 million compared to SGD 1.4 million for the last year. Earnings per unit basic and diluted were 1.24 cents compared to 1.22 cents reported in last year. Net asset value per unit as at November 30, 2017 was SGD 0.94 compared to SGD 0.95 as at August 31, 2017. Gross revenue for first quarter of 2018 grew by SGD 0.9 million (1.7%) on the back of higher rental income achieved by both Paragon and The Clementi Mall.
