Owlet, Inc. Announces Resignation of Michael Abbott as President and Member of the Board of Directors, Effective September 1, 2022

On August 11, 2022, Owlet, Inc. announced that Michael Abbott, President of the Company, intends to resign as President and as a member of the Company's Board of Directors (the “Board”) effective September 1, 2022 (the “Separation Date”). Mr. Abbott has indicated that his resignation from the Board is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices. Abbott joined the Company in February 2018 as Chief Financial Officer before assuming the role of President in December 2019.
He became a member of the board of directors in July 2021.
Owlet, Inc. operates as a digital parenting platform company. The Company's platform focuses on giving real-time data and insights to parents. Its products include Owlet Dream Sock, an app to assist children with better sleep; Owlet Cam, a video streaming app to hear and see the baby from anywhere, and Owlet Monitor Duo.
