CORRECTION: TRADING STATEMENT IN RESPECT OF THE UNAUDITED RESULTS AND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2023
Unitholders are hereby advised that the Oryx Trading Statement released yesterday, 04 March 2024, erroneously referred to the "year ending" 31 December 2023 rather than the "period ending" 31 December 2023. Unitholders are advised to note that the trading statement, reproduced below for ease of reference, is applicable to the period ended 31 December 2023.
In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) (i) of the NSX Listings Requirements, companies must publish a trading statement as soon as they become aware that the financial results for the period to be reported upon next will be materially different from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
The Group anticipates profit for the period to be substantially higher (more than 30%) than the corresponding period, whilst earnings per share, net asset value and distributable income are expected to be materially higher (between 10% and 30%) than the previous corresponding period.
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Oryx's external auditors. Unitholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Group's securities.
The reviewed results for the period ended 31 December 2023 are expected to be published on or about 06 March 2024.
