Oracle Payments Cloud Service is now available for businesses in the UK. The offering empowers restauranteurs, pubs, and stadiums to provide guests with flexible payments options, coupled with competitive pricing and streamlined reporting and reconciliation without the risk of fee fluctuations. To further enable restaurants to better manage payments across any channel, Oracle today also unveiled Oracle Checkout. This new offering provides brands a complete payments solution that can be used in-store and plugged in to their ecommerce channels, including websites, mobile apps, and third-party aggregators.

With an integrated payments platform and consolidated data, merchants can improve both the customer experience and how they manage their business. In one secure location, brands can have all the information they need to reconcile fees, offer customer refunds, and more accurately forecast revenue, profits, and cash flow.

"With the accelerated adoption of digital payments, the cost of simply processing a transaction is increasingly eroding margins," said Simon de Montfort Walker, executive vice president and general manager, Oracle Restaurants. "That's why we're working to change this dynamic and take the unpredictability and unneeded cost and hassle out of this process. Our customers are realizing material savings on their annual processing costs. When you combine the topline costs savings with the reduction in support and supplier management costs, operators are seeing a measurable impact switching to Oracle Payments."

Payments without unpredictable fees

Restaurant payment processing costs can vary widely between payment providers, card brands, or payment types. Compliance and service fees can also make it difficult for restaurants to estimate and factor these costs into their financial planning. The Oracle Payment Cloud Service offers a PCI-compliant, fixed rate pricing model that doesn't charge any additional service or convenience fees. With no commitment to a long-term contract, businesses can better anticipate exactly how much they will pay for every transaction-regardless of the payment method used.

Together with Oracle's proven restaurant management systems, including Oracle Order and Pay and Oracle Simphony Cloud, establishments of all sizes have a highly efficient, cost-effective way to service customers and optimize their bottom line-be it fast casual, table service, stadium concessions, or nearly any dining format in between.

The solutions are backed by a 24x7 single line of support from POS to payments with dedicated experts that have access and understanding of the entire Oracle Restaurants technology footprint. This enables rapid resolution of any issue that may arise at any point in the payment processing to settlement journey.

Oracle Payment Cloud Service is available today in the US and UK. Oracle Checkout is planned to be generally available this summer.
