Optivision Technology, Inc. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 1,833.577 million compared to TWD 1,367.166 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 120.459 million compared to operating loss of TWD 5.428 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 130.960 million compared to net loss of TWD 19.279 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.71 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.4 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.69 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.4 a year ago.
Optivision Technology Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacturing and sale of backlight units key components, such as brightness enhancement films (BEFs) and multiple function optical prism films. The Company's products are applied in backlight modules of thin film transistor-liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCDs), used for terminal products such as LCD televisions (TVs), notebooks, LCD monitors, cell phones, digital cameras, global positioning system (GPS) machines, digital photo frames, moving picture experts group layer-3 auto (MP3) displays and other consumer electronic products. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan and the rest of Asia.
