(Alliance News) - Officina Stellare Spa has announced that it has been selected by Photo-Sonics Inc as a qualified supplier for the supply of several short- and long-range optical systems, operating in both the visible and infrared spectrum, required for the execution of the MITS - Multispectral Imaging and Tracking System project, launched in 2019 by the U.S. Army.

Officina Stellare's optical systems supply program will be developed over a period of about five years for a total value of more than EUR9 million, and will start with a first tranche of deliveries scheduled over the next two years, with delivery by January 2025, worth about EUR3.3 million.
