Octav Investments Limited, formerly MP Power Line Limited, is an investment holding company. The principal activity of the Company is to secure, execute, build, setup the power projects, including power transmission and distribution in India and abroad; to provide consultancy, projects implementation and operational services in the field of generation, transmission, distribution of electricity, and/or services associated with all forms of energy and any such products and by-products related to such business, and all types of energy equipments and systems, including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008 (fiscal 2008), the Company acquired the investment division of KEC International Ltd. (KEC). In fiscal 2008, National Information Technologies Limited (NITEL) and RPG Transmission Limited (RPGT) were merged with KEC.
