EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.-February 22, 2017-NVE Corporation (Nasdaq: NVEC) today announced the introduction of the IL3022E, a cost-effective galvanically isolated, high-speed, full-duplex bus transceiver.
The new device uses NVE's patented IsoLoop spintronic Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) technology. A unique ceramic/polymer composite barrier provides excellent isolation and virtually unlimited barrier life, and the True 8™ wide-body package provides true 8 mm creepage.
Product features include:
• 4 Mbps data rate
• Full duplex
• 600 VRMSworking voltage per VDE V 0884-10
• 2500 VRMSisolation voltage
• 44000 year barrier life
• Low EMC footprint
• Thermal shutdown protection
• 0.3" True 8™ mm 16-pin SOIC package
There are now nine members of NVE's isolated digital transceiver family in various packages, including the unique QSOP and narrow-body packages, the industry's smallest isolated transceivers:

The product family also includes V-Series versions, which have the highest isolation voltage in the industry. V-Series versions are rated at a remarkabe 6 kVRMSisolation voltage and 1 kVRMSworking voltage.
All nine part types are in stock and available for immediate delivery. The IL3022E is priced at $3.25 each in 1,000-piece quantities. A datasheet and more information are available at www.nve.com.
NVE is a leader in the practical commercialization of spintronics, a nanotechnology that relies on electron spin rather than electron charge to acquire, store and transmit information. The company manufactures high-performance spintronic products including sensors and couplers that are used to acquire and transmit data. NVE has also licensed its spintronic magnetoresistive random access memory technology, commonly known as MRAM.

NVE Corporation develops and sells devices that use spintronics, which is a nanotechnology that relies on electron spin to acquire, store, and transmit information. The Company manufactures spintronic products, including sensors and couplers that are used to acquire and transmit data. The Company has also licensed its spintronic magnetoresistive random access memory technology (MRAM). Its parts are primarily used in industrial, scientific, and medical applications, as well as the Industrial Internet of things. The Company's products include sensors, couplers, and MRAM products. Its sensor products detect the strength or gradient of magnetic fields and are often used to determine position or speed. Its spintronic couplers combine a giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor element and a microscopic coil. MRAM uses spintronics to store data. It combines the speed of static random-access memory (SRAM), the density of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) and the nonvolatility of flash memory.
