On November 2, 2023, Nuveen New Jersey Quality Municipal Income Fund announced that the board member William C Hunter is expected to retire effective as of December 31, 2023, in accordance with the retirement policies adopted by the Company board and therefore will not be nominated for re-election at the Annual Meeting. The Company stated that board member Margaret L Wolf, previously designated as a Class I Board Member, is a nominee for election by holders of Preferred Shares for a term beginning upon Board Member Hunter?s retirement and expiring at the next annual meeting or until her successor has been duly elected and qualified.
