Northern Star Mining Corp. (NSM) is a development/advanced exploration stage company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Its properties include Malartic-Midway Project and McKenzie Break Project. The Company completed a total of 290 meters of remuck bays on the Malartic-Midway Project. The South Briar branch of the Midway completed 753 meters of underground development, including the construction of six drawpoints below the bottom. The Company completed surface diamond drilling on McKenzie Break Project. On February 26, 2009, the Company acquired a 60% interest in the McKenzie Break gold project, located in Fiedmont and Courville township.
