Notice Concerning Rescission of Appointment of Alternate Executive Officer

NIPPON REIT Investment Corporation ("NIPPON REIT") announces that NIPPON REIT decided to rescind the appointed position as alternate executive officer as follows, at the Meeting of Board of Officers of NIPPON REIT held today.

1. Appointment of Alternate Executive Officer to be Rescind (March 31, 2022)

Yu Mizuike (Appointed as Alternate Executive Officer at the General Meeting of Unitholders held on September 15, 2021)

Reason for the Rescission

NIPPON REIT decided to rescind the appointment of the position as Alternate Executive Officer as Mr. Yu Mizuike is resigning from his post as Director of Sojitz REIT Advisors K.K., the asset management company of NIPPON REIT, on March 31, 2022.

3. Other

In the case of a vacancy for Executive Officer or a shortfall in the number of Executive Officers prescribed by law, Yukihiro Hayashi, who was appointed to as, the second in line, Alternate Executive Officer at the Unitholders Meeting held on September 15, 2021, will take the position as the Executive Officer.
