Notice Regarding Seismic Isolation Oil Dampers Manufactured by

KYB Corporation and Kayaba System Machinery

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism issued a press release "Nonconformance to the certification standard of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and other standards of seismic isolation and vibration control oil dampers manufactured by KYB Corporation and Kayaba System Machinery Co., Ltd." dated October 16, 2018.

Nippon Prologis REIT, Inc. ("NPR") today announced that it investigated its current portfolio properties and discovered that the subject seismic isolation oil dampers, which were manufactured by KYB Corporation/Kayaba System Machinery Co., Ltd. and are not conforming to the standards of the Minister's certification (the "Nonconforming Products"), are installed to one of the properties.

KYB Corporation has announced that it has an intent to promptly replace the Nonconforming Products with appropriately conforming products.

Should NPR identify any new facts that would have a material impact on its operational status in the future, we will promptly make further announcements.
