Paris, January 11, 2021 - Nexans has extended its long-standing partnership with Eiffage, one of France's largest civil engineering companies, by winning a contract to supply electric vehicle charging stations for the company's Vélizy headquarters. The underground carpark at the site in the south-western suburbs of Paris will be fitted with Nexans Agicity Duo charging stations capable of charging 180 vehicles simultaneously.

The electric vehicle (EV) charging system will be based on 90 dual-outlet Agicity Duo wall-mounted units capable of charging EVs at up to 22 kilowatt (kW) and compatible with all vehicles on the market. The charging stations are also compatible with remote control, in order to provide Eiffage with reliable charging operations thanks to real-time remote diagnostics and supervision functions. The supervisory software also enables dynamic load balancing to intelligently adjust the power output from each unit according to the total load on the distribution network
