MUNICH (dpa-AFX) - The construction software manufacturer Nemetschek has come through the first quarter better than expected. Sales increased by 6.5 percent year-on-year to 204.6 million euros, as the MDax company announced in Munich on Thursday. There was a damper on the operating result due to the switch to subscription models, because high one-off contributions from license sales are increasingly declining. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization fell by 12.7 percent to 61 million euros. Below the line, net profit fell by 14.9 percent to 36.3 million euros. The Munich-based company's sales and earnings figures were better than analysts had expected. The management team headed by Yves Padrines confirmed its forecast for the full year.
