The Supervisory Board, which met today following Groupe BPCE's Annual General Meeting, elected Eric Fougère, also Chairman of the Guidance and Supervisory Board of Caisse d'Epargne Bourgogne Franche-Comté, as Chairman of Groupe BPCE's Supervisory Board.

Eric Fougère replaces Thierry Cahn. Marie Pic-Pâris Allavena, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, has been elected Vice-Chairwoman of the Groupe BPCE Supervisory Board.

Eric Fougère, Chairman of the Groupe BPCE Supervisory Board, comments: "My appointment comes at a time when Groupe BPCE is preparing to unveil its new strategic project, led by Nicolas Namias, Chairman of the Management Board. Together with all the members of the Board, I will strive to support the Group's new ambitions, while respecting each other's roles.
