National Development Bank PLC reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was LKR 5,609.76 million compared to LKR 4,889.77 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 1,872.11 million compared to LKR 1,504.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 6.3703 compared to LKR 6.3703 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 6.3703 compared to LKR 6.3703 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was LKR 16,017.04 million compared to LKR 13,810.72 million a year ago. Net income was LKR 5,968.08 million compared to LKR 3,868.98 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 20.2946 compared to LKR 15.625 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was LKR 20.2946 compared to LKR 15.625 a year ago.
