Hellman & Friedman LLC, Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and GIC Pte. Ltd. signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in MultiPlan, Inc. from Starr Investment Holdings, LLC, Ardian, SALVEPAR (ENXTPA:SY) and Partners Group (USA) Inc. for $7.5 billion on May 5, 2016. As per terms, Starr and Partners Group will retain minority investments in MultiPlan. SALVEPAR recorded a gain of €39.7 million. The closing of the sale transaction is expected to take place before the end of H1.
