On 18 April 2017 Mostostal Zabrze S.A. (MZ) was awarded the contract from Hitachi Zosen Inova AG(HZI) for installation works of two steam boilers within the scope of steel structure and related facilities in the waste to energy plant of Ferrybridge Multifuel Energy Limited in Great Britain under the project called 'Ferrybridge Multifuel 2'. The scheduled period of the contract completion is from June 2017 until March 2018, and the contract totals at £ 11,7 million.

This contract is meaningful for MZ, since it is not only winning over a new key Client - HZI - but also the MZ's return to the British market.

In years 2007-2009 Mostostal Zabrze S.A. delivered two large projects in UK. The biggest one was for installation of wet flue gas desulphurization system (FGD) at Ferrybridge Power Plant, whereas the second comprised the works associated with loading station for FGD at Rugeley Power Ltd. Both were successful in terms of timely performance and business outcomes.

Besides, Mostostal Zabrze Group's companies were also present in UK, particularly executing works for waste-to-energy plants.
