Budget Telecom announced earnings results for the first half of 2014. For the period, the company reported revenue down 36.8% to EUR 5.2 million, compared with EUR 8.2 million in the first half of 2013. The decrease, attributed to the company's withdrawal from less profitable sectors, included sales falling 50.3% in the B2C International segment and 78.8% in B2B (wholesale, value-added numbers).

The B2C revenue declined by 21% to EUR 3.7 million. The operator's current operating profit declined to EUR 102,000 from EUR 581,000, while its net profit fell to EUR 102,000 from EUR 380,000.
