Melkior Resources Inc. announced that its geological consultants, Geovector Management, are currently preparing two programs for each of the Carscallen and Launay gold properties; this includes metallurgical testing and drilling on each property. The planned program for Carscallen will focus on defining a potential near-surface resource on the ZamZam zone to a depth of on the order of 150 metres. A mineralized envelope has been determined and about half a dozen additional holes will be drilled (about 100 to 150 metres deep) to complete the gaps and provide more complete and accurate data for resource calculation.

Presently a sample is being prepared for metallurgical testing. A similar program is being undertaken at the Launay gold project in Quebec. Historical data has been digitized and compiled.

The positions of these historical holes were double-checked based on several drill casings that were located in the field by surveyors Corriveau J.L. & Assoc. Inc. The locations of historical holes are known to within 25 metres. Drill sections have been drawn incorporating historical drilling and drilling results from 2012.

Mineralized envelopes will be determined and metallurgical testing on samples for gold recovery will be done at Activation Laboratories Ltd. At Carscallen approximately 33,000 metres of drilling has identified a significant gold zone at ZamZam and Shenkman extending from surface to a depth of approximately 400 metres. The zones are open at depth and along strike. Included are surface grab samples of up to 843.72 g/t gold surface channel sampling of 4.20 metres at 5.66 g/t gold and drill holes up to 3.70 m at 51.92 g/t gold.
