The Company include a portfolio of exploration, appraisal and development stage opportunities in Cuba and Australia together with development concepts for the Tassie Shoal Methanol and LNG Project. Its projects include Cuba-Block 9 PSC, Cuba-Santa Cruz, Australia-Bonaparte Gulf, Tassie Shoal Projects and Australia-Vulcan Sub-Basin exploration. Cuba-Block 9 PSC covers approximately 2,344 square kilometers (km2) onshore on the north coast of Cuba, approximately 140 kilometers (km) east of Havana in a hydrocarbon system and along trend with the barrel Varadero oil field. The Santa Cruz oil field is located approximately 45 km from Havana between Boca de Jaruco and Canasi oil fields and 150 km west of Melbana’s existing Cuba - Block 9 PSC. Melbana has a 100% interest in two contiguous permits WA-544-P and NT/P87, covering an area of 4,000 km2 in the Petrel sub-basin, a shallow water area of the Timor Sea southwest of Darwin.
