MBL 1st Mutual Fund (the Fund) is a Bangladesh-based closed-end mutual fund. The objective of the Fund is to give benefit to its unitholders through achieving capital appreciation, as well as earning dividend and interest income from its investments. The Fund invests in a range of sectors, such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals; food and allied; banks; insurance; information technology sector; engineering; miscellaneous; mutual funds; textile; telecommunication; fuel and power and financial institution. Bangladesh General Insurance Company limited (BGIC) is the Trustee while Standard Chartered Bank is the Custodian of the Fund and LR Global Bangladesh Asset Management Company limited is managing the operations of the Fund.
