MARUICHI Co.,Ltd. (NSE:8228) concluded a contract to acquire food sales business from Marusuinaganokensui Co., Ltd. on November 8, 2016. Under the terms, food sales business will be split off and a new company will be established. Upon establishment, 1960 shares in that new entity will be acquired and it will operate as a subsidiary of MARUICHI Co.,Ltd. The board of directors of MARUICHI Co.,Ltd announced the resolution of the deal on November 8, 2016. The deal is subject to approval from shareholders of Marusuinaganokensui Co., Ltd. The deal is expected to close on April 3, 2017. Frontier Management Inc. acted as a financial adviser to Marusuinaganokensui Co., Ltd.
