Maple Leaf Foods : Withdraws Certain Adult Snack Kits Sold in U.S. Due to Allergen Related Recall by Manufacturer of Chocolate Wafers Included in Kits

Mississauga, ON, February 2, 2023 - Maple Leaf Foods Inc. yesterday voluntarily withdrew three types of adult snack kits sold in several U.S. states after its chocolate wafer supplier recalled the chocolate wafers that are included in the kits.
The recalled chocolate wafers may have contained peanut residue that was not declared on the label. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the chocolate wafer recall.
