Mahaweli Reach Hotels PLC was the proud recipient of the Three Star Award for entities in the Large Category - Services Sector at the Star Awards presentation organised by the Department of Industrial Development and Enterprise Promotion, Central Province. Executive Director Asitha Panabokke also received the Award for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in this category.

These awards are presented in recognition of the contribution made by organisations towards the development of the economy of the Central Province. The occasion was graced by Central Province Governor Lalith U. Gamage, as Chief Guest together with other dignitaries of the Central Province. The award was accepted on behalf of the Company by Director Dayanthi Panabokke while Asitha Panabokke accepted his award from the Chief Guest Lalith Gamage.
