LuckLand Co., Ltd. (TSE:9612) entered into contract to acquire Kyowa Densetsu Co., Ltd from Noboru Inoue, Kenichi Nishio, Kozo Sakai, and others on January 11, 2017. Noboru Inoue, Kenichi Nishio, and Kozo Sakai will sell 30% stake each. LuckLand Co., Ltd. will acquire 0.008 million shares of Kyowa Densetsu Co., Ltd and will operate it as wholly owned subsidiary. During the year ended October 2016, Kyowa Densetsu Co., Ltd had net assets of ¥183.05 million, total assets of ¥192.55 million, sales of ¥112.7 million, operating profit of ¥2.95 million, and net income of ¥2.59 million. LuckLand Co., Ltd. made a resolution in favor of the transaction on January 11, 2017. The expected closing date is January 17, 2017.
