Condecta AG acquires the WMS company and strengthens its market position and geographic presence in mobile WC facilities
On 9 September 2016, Condecta AG, which belongs to Looser Holding AG, acquired 100 percent of the shares in WMS WC-Mietservice GmbH, which has its headquarters in Reichenburg, Canton Schwyz. With a market share of around 14 percent, WMS is the third-largest supplier of rented mobile WC cubicles in Switzerland, ranking immediately behind Condecta/MobiToil.
WMS WC-Mietservice GmbH was founded in 1995, and is engaged in the hire and servicing of mobile WC cubicles. The company has some 25 employees and has achieved sales of around CHF 3.3 million in recent years. Its product range takes in more than 2200 WC cubicles of various designs. WMS enjoys an excellent reputation amongst its customers, most of whom are in the building sector. With this complementary acquisition, Condecta AG is expanding its presence in central and eastern Switzerland and is narrowing the gap relative to the market's leading supplier.
Condecta/MobiToil and WMS will both benefit from synergies resulting from the merger by providing even more complete and competent cover in the building-site and event activities they offer and by reinforcing their joint market presence. The merger will also bring advantages for the Condecta Group's other areas of business, such as through cross-selling opportunities for the segments of modular space systems, equipment for building sites and protective fencing systems.

All the employees of WMS WC-Mietservice GmbH are being taken on by Condecta. The process of integrating the company in the Condecta group will begin within the next few days. Both the company name and the brand name of WMS will continue to exist.
