(Alliance News) - Leonardo is increasingly focused on international relations and, with this in mind, has just signed two agreements, one with Israeli Innovation Authority and the other with Ramot Tel Aviv University, in the field of innovation.

The goal is to strengthen its position in the world by fostering structural relationships with countries that are considered strategic; among them is, precisely, Israel.

"It is not a coincidence that, at the end of November 2022, the company led by Alessandro Profumo completed the merger transaction between its U.S. subsidiary Leonardo DRS, and the Israeli listed company Rada, which led to the automatic listing of DRS," reads the released note.

Leonardo on Friday trades in the red by 0.9 percent at EUR9.48 per share.
