CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

Reference is made to (i) the circular to the shareholders of the Company (the "Circular") dated 31 December 2020, (ii) the announcement of the Company in relation to the proposed change of company name dated 31 December 2020 and (iii) the AGM poll results announcement dated 26 February 2021 (the "Announcement"). Unless otherwise stated, capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Circular and the Announcement (as the case may be).

CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

The Board is pleased to announce that the change of the Company's dual foreign name in Chinese from "ͭᅃ઺ԃϞࠢʮ̡" to "ͭᅃ઺ԃٰ΅Ϟࠢʮ̡" (the "Change of Company Name") has become effective. The English name of the Company (i.e. Leader Education Limited) remains unchanged.

Following the passing of the special resolution for the Change of Company Name at the AGM held on 26 February 2021, a certificate of incorporation on change of name was issued by the Registrar of Companies in Cayman Islands on 2 March 2021. The Company will complete the necessary filing procedures with the Companies Registry in Hong Kong accordingly.

EFFECTS OF THE CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

The Change of Company Name will not affect the rights of any Shareholder. All existing share certificates of the Company in issue bearing the existing name of the Company will continue to be valid evidence of legal title to the shares of the Company (the "Shares") and will continue to be valid for trading, settlement, registration and delivery purposes.

Accordingly, there will not be any arrangement for free exchange of the existing share certificates for new certificates bearing the new Chinese name of the Company. Meanwhile, the securities of the Company will be traded on the Stock Exchange under the new Chinese name. It is expected that new share certificates bearing the existing English name and the new Chinese name of the Company will be issued with effect from 19 March 2021.

Furthermore, both the English and the Chinese stock short names of the Company for trading of the Shares on the Stock Exchange remain unchanged.
