Well before the pandemic caused apartment owners and operators to rapidly adopt new technology, Peter Weiss, Latch's Chief Real Estate Officer, was working with commercial real estate clients to bridge the gap between innovation, technology, and experience.
During his nearly 20-year tenure, Weiss has worked with clients of all sizes to guide them through complex innovation strategies and transactions totalling more than $3 billion. Since joining Latch in 2018, he has helped some of the country's largest multifamily owners and operators drive innovation through technology and enhanced resident experiences.
He was recently recognized as one of GlobeSt.'s CRE Tech Influencers, an exclusive list honoring people "whose innovation and expertise have helped propel proptech to its current heights."
Weiss has been instrumental in the development and implementation of Latch's full-building operating system, LatchOS, which helps streamline systems for management, as well as contactless leasing, and other advancements that help deliver better experiences for residents, guests, and property managers.
