Lan Fa Textile Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 598.869 million compared to TWD 246.992 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1.563 million compared to operating loss of TWD 100.404 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 149.449 million compared to TWD 96.786 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.47 compared to TWD 0.3 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,273.460 million compared to TWD 808.239 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 9.644 million compared to operating loss of TWD 137.057 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 301.889 million compared to net loss of TWD 248.686 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.95 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.78 a year ago.
LAN FA TEXTILE CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of textured polyester yarns. The Companyâs products include set yarns, stretch yarns, non-torque yarns, high-count yarns, less torque yarns, micro-fibers, non-sizing yarns, dimity-like yarns, fire-retardant finished yarns, matt yarns and environmental friendly yarns, among others. The Company operates through three segments, including false twisting plant in Chupei segment, false twisting plant in Hangzhou segment and others segment. The Company mainly operates businesses in the domestic market.
