Changes to Board of Directors

Laconia Resources Limited (ASX: LCR) ("Laconia" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the immediate appointment of Mr Matthew Edmondson as a Non-Executive Director of the Company following the resignation of Mr Vincent Algar effective 28 January 2013.
Mr Edmondson's professional experience spans 25 years and has involved commercial management, corporate regulation, governance and public accounting in Australia and the United Kingdom. More recently, Mr Edmondson has provided commercial management, company secretarial, financial and administrative services to a number of clients including ASX listed and private clients.
Mr Edmondson is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary. Mr Edmondson has held the position of Company Secretary of Laconia since July 2012 and has been a member of the Audit Committee since September 2012.
Mr Algar who has been a Non-Executive Director resigns to focus on his developing consulting and advisory practice.
Laconia's Chairman Matthew Howison commented: "Laconia wishes to thank Vincent for his efforts and significant technical input to the development of the Company's projects. We anticipate utilising his services on an ongoing basis as the project in Peru enters its next phase."
