Kwang Ming Silk Mill Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 237.525 million compared to TWD 95.456 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 23.108 million compared to operating loss of TWD 8.542 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 26.605 million compared to net loss of TWD 20.841 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.66 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.52 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 473.865 million compared to TWD 267.401 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 45.061 million compared to operating loss of TWD 6.118 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 55.173 million compared to net loss of TWD 36.962 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.36 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.91 a year ago.
Kwang Ming Silk Mill Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and distribution of cloth. The Companyâs primary products include cotton cloth, artificial fibers, nylon fabrics, silk, polyester fabrics and weaving fabrics, among others. The Companyâs products are mainly used in the production of wedding dresses, garments, sports, casual wears, household decorations, curtains, industrial fabrics, recyclable polyester textiles and lining cloth, among others. The Company is also involved in the processing of fabrics, as well as the purchasing and distribution of fabric raw materials and products. The Company mainly operates its businesses in Taiwan.
