Dr. Marc Pfeffer

Chief Legal Officer, Group General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Kuehne+Nagel Group

Dr. Marc Pfeffer (German-Swiss, born 1971) became the Chief Legal Officer, responsible for Legal and Governance of the Kuehne+Nagel Group in January 2023. Kuehne+Nagel is one of the world's leading logistics providers and number one in Sea and Air Logistics, based in Switzerland.

Marc Pfeffer joined the Kuehne+Nagel Group in 2014 as Group General Counsel. In 2019, he additionally took on the responsibility

of Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors of Kuehne+Nagel International AG, two roles he still holds today.

Marc Pfeffer graduated and received his doctorate in law with distinction from Saarland University in Germany. He worked at the US Federal Trade Commission in 1998 and held various management positions with DB AG, Berlin and Frankfurt, Germany, from 2002 to 2006, among others General Counsel of DB Netz AG. In 2006, he joined OC Oerlikon Corporation AG, Pfäffikon, as the Head of International Legal Affairs and later General Counsel until 2012.

Marc Pfeffer was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Kühne Holding AG and its Audit Committee from 2019 through 2022. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Kühne Foundation, Schindellegi, Switzerland.
