Kodama Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd. (TSE:4222) announced a private placement of 9,000 series 2 warrants at a price of ¥826 per warrant for gross proceeds of ¥7,434,000 on August 21, 2018. The transaction will include participation from SMBC Nikko Securities Inc., Investment Arm. Each warrant can be exercised into 1,000 common shares of the company at a minimum exercise price of ¥63 per warrant. The company will receive net proceeds of ¥1,130,434,000 from the exercise of the warrants. The exercise period of the warrants will be from September 7, 2018 to September 6, 2021. The warrants will be issued by third party allotment. The transaction is expected to close on September 6, 2018.
