Kia Corporation (KOSE:A000270) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 7,215,007 shares. The shares will be repurchased to increase shareholder value and cancel 50% of acquired stocks.
The share repurchase program is valid until April 27, 2023. As of October 24, 2022, the company had 4,056,615 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had 375,716 shares in treasury through other repurchase.
