K.R.S.Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended May 31, 2015. For the six months, the company reported operating revenue of JPY 75,871 million against JPY 73,188 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 1,737 million against JPY 1,104 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 1,699 million against JPY 1,166 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 962 million against JPY 459 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 77.20 against JPY 36.23 a year ago. Income before income taxes and minority interests was JPY 1,734 million against JPY 1,244 million a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was JPY 3,037 million against JPY 1,585 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was JPY 1,546 million against JPY 4,300 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was JPY 90 million against JPY 102 million a year ago.
For the year ending November 30, 2015, the company expects operating revenue of JPY 153,000 million, operating income of JPY 3,300 million, ordinary income of JPY 3,300 million, net income of JPY 1,820 million and net income per share of JPY 145.95.
KRS Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the provision of comprehensive logistics services such as storage, cargo handling, transportation and information processing. The Company is involved in the manufacture and sale of mayonnaise dressings, canned goods, egg products and frozen foods. The Company operates through three business segments. The Joint Logistics segment is involved in the storage, loading and unloading, national intermodal transportation of foods, as well as the lorry transportation of raw materials such as grease and vinegar. The Dedicated Logistics segment mainly operates distribution centers for convenience stores and other retailers. The Other Related segment includes the sale of vehicles, logistics equipment, fuel, and other products, as well as logistics operations overseas.
