K.R.S. Corporation announced consolidated financial results for the year ended November 30, 2016. For the year, the company reported operating revenues of JPY 153,034 million, operating income of JPY 4,841 million, ordinary income of JPY 5,050 million, and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 2,584 million or JPY 207.94 per share against operating revenues of JPY 153,541 million, operating income of JPY 4,026 million, ordinary income of JPY 4,004 million, and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 2,109 million or JPY 169.44 per share a year ago. Cash flows from operating activities were JPY 5,353 million against JPY 8,281 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was JPY 5,028 million against JPY 3,999 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was JPY 6,627 million against JPY 4,395 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was JPY 231 million against JPY 301 million a year ago.
For the year, the company announced dividend of JPY 19.00 per share against JPY 14.00 per share paid for the same period a year ago. The dividend will be payable on February 23, 2017.
The company provided dividend guidance for the second quarter end May 31, 2017 and year ending November 30, 2017. For the second quarter end, the company expects to pay a yearend dividend of JPY 20.00 per share against JPY 17.00 per share paid for the same period a year ago.
For the year, the company expects to pay a yearend dividend of JPY 20.00 per share against JPY 19.00 per share paid for the same period a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the second quarter ending May 31, 2017 and year ending November 30, 2017.
